I hear you and I so relate. I too long to be more present and walk my talk and live a life where there is time to regroup, center, breathe and connect. I too must surrender and let go of some things that I love dearly, but just can’t maintain with presence and focus. I am keeping bellyfit in the picture, however, because it is more than a workout for me, it truly is a spiritual practice. Thank you Alice for sharing from the heart; this is really what our world needs more of; heart energy and truth.

You are so beautiful! I love your honesty…your humanity
Thank you so much for the reminder to listen to self, to our bodies.. they never lie, do they?! xoxox

We’ve all be there… there is so much literature out there on women burning out. I have learned a lot by looking to other cultures for inspiration and ways to function as a woman more healthfully.
xo!

Alice, thankfully you’re only human—I was beginning to think that you were superwoman! It’s not the falling down that defines us, but the picking ourselves up again.
Thank you so much for sharing. I’ll remember your words the next time I feel discouraged.

Thank you for sharing Alice.
Even if I am physically one of the furthest away from you I did not think one second that I was left out. I always feel like I am part of the Bellyfit community. Whenever I needed support, I got it and in a very fast time.
As a passionate person, I can understand that we tend to do too many of the things we love which eventually become quite a load. I am particularly attentive to your message because I know I tend to do a bit too much (let’s be honest…not a bit too much, I should say a lot too much!).
Thank you for sharing, I can recognize myself in your words.
Sending lots of love from the East Coast.

Alice, know that I love you and I 100% percent know where you are coming from. I have felt that fatigue and chaos. Teaching 3 styles of fitness, running a studio (and at the time working a separate full time job) prepping, training, planning, working on maintaining the role of “entertainer”, being a mother, wife and taking care of the house, I felt at a loss until my body gave out and I ended up quite literally on my back with a herniated disc. It was within those healing months and having to close my studio for 2 months, leave my full time job, that I truly learned what it is like to surrender. I learned so much from that journey. The good news is now we have both come out the other side and are ready to take on the world in a new way. You are loved. You are supported. You are admired. Happy International Women’s Day. xoxoxo

I adore you Alice. I hear you too.
You have accomplished so much.
Congratulations for being true.
You inspire me and many others daily.
Family is a short time. Children grow and go.
Cherish it.

Thank you Alice! That was lovely to read. I am very happy to hear that you are taking care of you! I think we all have times when we get so caught up in how amazing we are as people and at all the wonderful things we can do and experiences we can create that we try to do them all at once. It is such a gift to allow yourself to slow down. I always tell my classes “Honour yourself.” You’ve done so much for so many of us.
