BFIIT Toronto Learning The Goddess Pulse

It always feels sort of like coming down off of a high. As I said during the closing circle of this last BFIIT – a sold out event in Toronto – each group that attends (8 groups in total now), seems to go through an organic metamorphosis throughout the course of the weekend. This metamorphosis results in a unified being, a new creature. Comprised of women who come from every possible background and experience you could imagine, this new creature carries with it the wisdom of many lifetimes. This beautiful, magical creature, midwived into being by myself and Master Monique, is now dispersed once again into various communities, carrying with it the power of intention in action…the power of Bellyfit.

I also said in our Sancopa circle in Toronto that my intention is “to create the largest women’s network in the world! Then I pulled the card “Live as if.” - Live as if everything you wish to manifest is already in existence. Ok.

My skeptical Virgo Mind tells me this is ridiculous. If you live as if everything you wish to manifest is already in existence then where will the motivation to make it happen come from? On the other hand, I get the point, and I can see the power in this when related to the emotional body. In fact in some ways I do this already, and in others not so much. I think I might try it more, and just see if it worksغ. It is quite tricky really.

In the meantime, I muse over the many incredible moments that were the highlights of this past training. Indeed the experience of 25 women united, all with the goal of helping themselves and others feel good in their bodies is unlike any other. Seeing them push through fears, insecurities, doubt and confusion and come out on the other side with clarity and purpose is truly an honour to behold. Witnessing the core in action, the spirit being given voice, the mind giving up control (even just for a moment) and the heart being healed are, in my mind, the jewels in the human journey, and there were plenty such jewels this past weekend.

My gratitude for these women flows like a stream, and I feel it flow from them to me as well. They thank me for my work on this planet. And to this I say that I am doing the work I was given, no more, no less, as are they. I accept this work despite my own “Itty Bitty Shitty Committee” who challenges me and questions, “Who do you think you are, and what makes you think you can accomplish the lofty goals you have set out for yourself?” I have learned to tell the IBSC to take a hike…they are now lost on a mountain and we are not sending out a rescue party.

This past training in TO was also the first time that Monique and I had the chance to travel and share the training 50/50. I could not be happier with my choice for the first Bellyfit Master Trainer. Monique embodies the power that is a woman truly alive in her skin, and truly alive in the world. Watching her stand up in front of this incredible group of women and be a role model of a woman fully in her power was beyond words. She speaks and moves with the clarity of deep wisdom and a life of dedicated study and practice. Thank you Monique.

BFIIT Toronto Learning The Goddess Pulse
Me And Mom On Hiatus In Perth

It has been exactly one week since the completion of the Toronto BFIIT. Now on my way back to Victoria, I have spent the past 7 days with my mother and family in the peaceful vibes of Picturesque Perth. There is no doubt that a weekend of training can be exhausting, not only for the participants but also for the facilitators. To have landed in my mother’s arms after such a weekend was a gift to be sure. There is truly nothing that can match the love and nurturing of a mother and I am so very grateful. And not to mention the many saunas by the river, the great food and the wedding dress shopping! Now with body, mind, spirit and heart refueled and revived, I am even more excited about the future prospects of Bellyfit.

With another almost sold out training in Calgary only 4 days away, I know I must stay clear and rest. I am eager to meet the women of this cowgirl town and witness the creation of yet another organic being.

For now, it being Easter Monday, it feels somewhat like a day out of time. I know that no one is expecting to hear from me except for my beloved man and child who will be waiting for me with open arms and hearts at the airport. 13 days away is long enough, and I am ready to be home.

Well what can I say? After another packed training - this time is Calgary - I am once again in awe at the power of the human spirit (and body) to overcome adversity in all forms.  As I have mentioned before, each group of trainees creates a unique and inspiring energy. This group was certainly no exception to the rule.  Monique and I both experienced a very emotional surge during the Sancopa Circle (Intention Circle) at the end of the training and were blown away but the diversity of this group. We had a Russian Woman, and Iranian Woman, an woman of Caribbean descent and a woman of Indian descent, not to mention all the fabulous Canadian babes! I just love looking around a room full of women, working and playing harmoniously together, that I know have come from such different places and belief systems. This is the joy in what I do.

Paola And Kathy Gorgeousness In Nanaimo

This last training in Nanaimo was way too much fun. All 15 of the fabulous participants brought an enthusiasm and clarity to the weekend that was truly inspiring and even breathtaking at moments. I thought I might have less to offer this group as I was feeling a bit run down after 3 packed trainings in a row (Kelowna, Toronto, Calgary), but the enthusiasm of this group fueled me from beginning to end and the gorgeous sunny weather didn’t hurt either.

I feel so very honoured to work with so many women that care so deeply about the health and well being of their communities and who are working so diligently to contribute in so many creative and beautiful ways. I feel so grateful to the lessons that each and every one of them bring to me and to the Bellyfit System. Wow.

So now with our first month of trainings complete and all the kinks (well most of them) worked out, I now pass the torch onto Monique for the next month. I gratefully entrust her with the honour and pleasure of traveling to Regina and Edmonton to train the brave women East of Rockies! I have no doubt she will rock it as usual. Good luck Monique. You are my heroغ

In the meantime, BFHQ is gearing up and I am so happy to be firing up the Bellyfit Live engines again for the next 4 Saturdays in a row. I think I have been in withdrawal. And yes, the wedding plans are coming along better than I cold have even imagined and everything is shimmying into place!

Until next time, keep the vibe alive people. Don’t believe it, know it.

Namaste
