My Bio

I started Bellydancing back in 2002 and it quickly took over my life. I fell in love with the movements, music and the costumes. After teaching for a few years, I became interested in the fitness side of dance and decided to train as a personal trainer. Over the years, I have taken courses that have helped me understand women’s fitness and health needs for both dance and life in general.

I have always enjoyed helping people learn how to move there bodies and explore the creative side that both dance and fitness can bring out. (Although the dance does have more sparkly outfits!)

Today, you can find me teaching both Bellydance and Bellyfit® online from Kingston, Ontario, in addition to my day job as a Fitness Instructor for the Victorian Order of Nurses.

Why Bellyfit:

I first discovered Bellyfit® back in 2009 and took training that year with Alice in Perth, ON. I love the dance based movements and the music always made me want to workout. When I wanted to bring more fitness based classes to my students in Kingston, my first thought was Bellyfit® and I recertified in the fall of 2020!

The combination of both cardio, core strength, and stretch makes Bellyfit® perfect for my dance students that want a little more fitness and anyone looking for a fun way to get moving!
