Leanne Zdebiak-Eni, an incredible Bellyfit Instructor in Comox Valley on Vancouver Island has truly embraced the community aspect of Bellyfit. She has created The Comox Valley Bellyfit Live Community Celebration, a semi-monthly event where women gather for a Bellyfit Live class and help raise awareness and funds for a variety of charities and non-profit groups within their community, while sharing the fun movement and music of Bellyfit!
Her team of DJ em.ash and Lotuswear delivered the first Comox Valley Bellyfit Live Community Celebration in October 2011, check out their success so far.
October 23rd 2011: Girls on the MOVE, $577 raised.
December 11th 2011: Comox Valley Christmas Hamper Fund, $376 raised.
January 15th 2012: True Colours Youth Company of Performing Arts, $413 raised and over 200 pounds of food for the Food Bank.
UPCOMING: Sunday, March 11th 11:30am-1pm at the Naive Sons Hall and the event is in support of YANA, You Are Not Alone, a local organization that helps local families who need to travel for medical care for their children.
