A revolutionary new workout, designed specifically for women, is being presented in Perth for the second time next week, along with a weekend workshop that will train interested ladies in becoming course instructors.
Through an infusion of core-based Pilates, belly dance and yoga, Bellyfit will offer participants a highly effective exercise experience that will not only incorporate movements inspired by western fitness and cultural dance, but also ancient-eastern practices - and all in a traditional group-fitness format.
“In the first half hour of the class, participants will burn mega calories and relieve stress with fun, high-energy cardio that is guaranteed to make their hearts pound and the sweat flow with easy-to-learn moves from belly dance, Bollywood, Bhangra, African dance and more,” explainsAlice Bracegirdle, Bellyfit’s chief exective officerand master trainer. “During the second half of hte class, participants can enjoy sculpting, toning and tightening with Pilates-infused core work and a deep, yet relaxing, yoga-infused stretch and brief meditation.”
