I love teaching Bellyfit® because I get to support and encourage women to find their strength and their sensuality, while having an amazing, fun workout in a non-judgemental, safe environment.
I teach Fitness, Dance, Zumba, Pilates and now Bellyfit®! What motivates me is seeing others feeling happy and good in their skin and this is what Bellyfit® is all about!
Bellyfit® involves all I love to do! Yoga, dance, strong femininity, different cultures, friendship and sisterhood and a holistic way of life!
When I first discovered Bellyfit I felt like I was home. It’s as though yoga and belly dance have come together. It focuses on the mind, body and spirit as does yoga and allows me to move in an expressive way. I know many women at my local yoga studio would enjoy this class and so, I am taking the instructor course to offer it to all the lovely ladies.
I love the combo with movement and spirituality. I am not a Yogi but Bellyfit seems to be the right balance with yoga and dance. I love it!!
I came to Bellyfit in the spring of 2021 through Alice’s Shakti Warrior Dance for Healing series offered on Daily OM (check it out!!). I was truly transformed through that practice and fell in love with the combination of FLOWING SENSUOUS movements alongside STRONG WARRIOR like movements – all the while getting a good sweat on! I was hooked…and now here I am.
You’ll be trained and supported by one of our expert Master Trainers who has been hand-picked by Bellyfit® CEO Alice Bracegirdle, for their extensive experience with fitness, dance and Yoga and their fierce devotion to the upliftment of women through body-positive, holistic movement.
The Foundation Course will give you the foundational theory you need to understand where this movement came from and what it's all about. Get clear on our philosophy, our mission, alignment principles, musicality, cueing and much more!
In addition to the Foundation Course, you'll study the Movement Module in which you'll learn all 7 sections of the class and cover the teaching formula that links it all together. You'll also see your first routine that you'll teach in your practicum classes and your first music mix.
Once you've completed the course and submitted your Practicum Video, you'll be assigned a Master Trainer who will review your video. You'll then book a feedback call with her and be awarded your certification!
We believe strongly in peer to peer support, and we've set up plenty of options. You'll have the option to join us on Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms to ensure that you feel support and inspired whenever you need it.
