My Bio

I have been involved in exercise all my life, from playing tennis to aerobics and running. About 15 years ago I discovered belly dancing and not long after I got into yoga. From Hatha yoga I moved to Kundalini yoga which includes music and meditation. I have attended various belly dance workshops and classes over the years and taught myself from dvd’s including Keiti Sharif’s A to Z of Belly Dancing. I also do zumba regularly and once a month go to an amazing Ecstatic Dance event.

10 years ago I started African drumming and have drummed in a group and attended African drumming festivals and done some African dance workshops.

I have taught belly dance workshops and given short courses.

Why Bellyfit:

The Bellyfit program brings together everything I love about exercise and fitness and offers the training and resources I need to teach in a professional manner.

I am very lucky in that exercise has been a part of my life since and early age and I was always encouraged to do it.  I want to be able to help more women - especially women who do not normally exercise - to discover the rewards of fitness and the power and joy of their own bodies.

Classes currently at Fit 4 Life studio Newtown, Powys
