DJ, Entrepreneur, Gardener

Professional Background:

Without Rowan, Bellyfit would be just an idea, still floating up in the ethers searching for a channel through which to become manifest. His technical expertise, musical genius, and emotional support are as essential to Bellyfit as the choreography, the breath and the participants. Behind the scenes, Rowan makes it all happen!
                                                                                             
  Rowan holds a BA in Electro-acoustic Music Composition and Geographic Information Management Studies from Queen’s University where he competed on the Varsity Volleyball Team, created and coordinated the Queen’s Yoga Club and organized events to help raise awareness about sustainability, spirituality and holistic wellness.
                                                                                             
  When he is not creating web pages, databases, graphics, music composition or keeping Victoria grooving with his Dj skills, he is a super star Dad to Shalom, best friend and fiancée to Alice and the best cook ever! Rowan delights in the challenges and opportunities that Bellyfit has provided for his creative expression and growth as a human being. A Scorpio with a passionate and mysterious side, the Goddess is shining on this one!

The world needs more healing and nurturing energy to rebalanced the ego dominated ‘reptilian’ mindset of today’s world leaders. By providing resources and tools to help empower women- not in an ‘equality’ or traditionally ‘feminist’ way- but in a balanced yin-yang power shift to create a healthier world and healthier civilization.
                                                                                                 
Men and women need to find balance and nurture one another. If our homes and families are battling with domination and control dramas, our conflict is reflected in the world at large. The vision of Bellyfit is to make the world a better place by allowing women a safe & sacred space to grow and find their ‘core’- to become their strongest and most beautiful selves.
